We are pleased to announce that LB has signed an agreement with Comet Granito India for the supply of an automated powder management system, a technological tower equipped with the most modern technologies, including “Easy Color Boost“ the most efficient dry coloring system.

This comprises the feeding of n. 2 CONTINUA + pressing lines, which can create large technical porcelain slabs with material decoration performed by the Rolltech kit. Everything will be provided as part of one of the largest projects in course in the Asian area: the new Comet plant in Morbi, capital of the Indian ceramic industry.

The plant will produce 8,000,000 square meters of slabs and sub-formats per year; the commissioning of the plant is expected by mid-2022.

The main product will be the king size slabs which, as the Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Pintu Padaliya underlines, are “the product of the present and the future”.

The slabs will also be produced in high thickness (up to 20 mm) and the aim is to reproduce the effects of natural materials such as stones.

The target markets for the new products resulting from LB technology are, in addition to the Indian domestic market: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, USA, Europe, Russia, Israel, China, Australia.

The project, which has been running for three years, is the result of a record investment even for a lively and growing market like the Indian one.
