Mec Abrasives is an Italian producer of treatments for porcelain stoneware. Amongst its new products for the surface treatment of tiles and slabs it is presenting Prolux, a low-odour protective treatment specially designed to provide high and long-lasting stain-resistance properties to porcelain stoneware and other surfaces with low absorption and a compact structure. Thanks to the company’s in-depth study of the material and its longstanding presence in the Sassuolo ceramic district, Prolux not only solves the problems associated with the porosity of ceramic surfaces but also creates added value in terms of gloss, protection, durability, higher productivity in industrial processes and a greater percentage of top-quality products. Prolux is quick to apply, it does not form a surface film and due to its limited odour is particularly suitable for use on production lines and in indoor spaces. It comes in a clear, neutral version that does not affect the colour of pale-coloured surfaces, as well as in white and black.
