The latest evolution of Supershine, a BMR machine that since 2010 has guaranteed extraordinary results in sanding and treatment on more than 130 lines worldwide, has arrived: it is called Supershine Plus. The Supershine Plus, with its range of 12, 16 and 20 heads, allows the management of one or more products independently thanks to peristaltic pumps for product dosing, equipped with two feed channels.
Compared to the previous version, the Plus’s pumping circuit switches from the ModBus communication system to the more efficient EtherCat system, which guarantees faster and more precise dosing, limiting material dispersion. In addition, thanks to the temperature control, it is possible to increase processing uniformity, avoiding problems due to temperature fluctuations.
One of the most decisive additions is ShineVision, a technology that combines electronic equipment with a vision system to check the quality of the surface processing of manufactured products. The machine can also be equipped with a Gloss module (for Gloss mapping) and a Scratch module.
The operational advantages are undeniable and varied:
increased competitiveness, thanks to higher productivity; cost reduction, thanks to the reduction of energy consumed, downtime and waste;
greater safety: machine vision solutions help create a positive and safe working environment;
automatic identification and correction of production problems in line;
improvement of sustainable working practices, thanks to the efficiency of the and the consumption of tools and abrasives and the reduction of defects;
greater innovation: freeing personnel from manual and repetitive activities for higher value work can lead to greater attention to detail.
The added value of the new proposal, common to other latest BMR technologies, is the combination of vision/automation, which calls up the finishing parameters directly to the recipe to ‘correct’ them in real time as required, maximising synergies with the various tool and additive suppliers from a plant engineering perspective.
