DVW represents the ideal and a pioneering solution for picking and storing big slabs. Storing the slabs vertically on the floor on dedicated elements allows space to be optimized in terms of absolute storage capacity and a greater number of references than any other solution available on the market.
The combined use of translating shuttles and high-performance robotics allows rapid management of filling and picking cycles, for a just-in-time service for the final preparation of orders, including multi-references/rainbow orders. Each translating shuttle can be equipped with PE-S System, SUPERCAPACITOR to increase energy efficiency with devices capable of regenerating energy, reusing it and reducing voltage peaks with consequent energy savings and significant reduction of Co2 in line with industry 5.0
DVW is characterized as a highly modular and scalable system, which can be configured according to the customer’s needs and spaces. No dedicated structural works are required and it can be integrated, if required, with pre-existing WMS and ERP systems. Great attention is paid to saving on warehouse management costs and to the quality of the services provided in terms of reliability, repetitiveness and final finish of the shipping units (crates, vertical frames , bundles).
The strong point of the DVW, in addition to the high storage intensity per occupied surface, is the flexibility and high speed in PICKING with the possibility of preparing multiple orders at the same time, including multi-references. Input and output control systems guarantee a further check of of the integrity of each individual slab and the dedicated and integrated finishing , provides a further guarantee of quality for the final customer.
