Cerasarda presents its new course at the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings in Bologna, to be held from 26 to 30 September 2016.
Innovation, design and new materials are all to be found at Cersaie 2016, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. It is here, from 26 to 30 September, that architects, designers and industry professionals will find interesting and creative ideas for designing residential and commercial environments using the most versatile compositions.
Cerasarda, ceramics from the Costa Smeralda, based in Olbia, for years a brand owned by the Romani Group, is taking part in this international event, presenting a new course which combines tradition and innovation and is divided into two sections.
Cerasarda Lab
Cerasarda Lab is the branch which includes all Cerasarda historical products still in production and indeed recognised by the market for their distinctive character which combines craftsmanship, variety of sizes, materials and the colours of the Mediterranean. These characters, updated, represent the accent which will distinguish the coming collections to grace the catalogue.
Cerasarda Design
Cerasarda Design represents the natural evolution in the scope of interior and outdoor project design, backed by the experience of Cerasarda developed in the 60s by the architect Luigi Vietti.
Abitare la terra
First to inaugurate the Cerasarda Design section is Abitare la terra (Living the Earth), an innovative product design by Maria Luisa Brighenti, designer and ceramist. This project is inspired by the warm, rich and generous earth of Sardinia, and gives life to a new collection characterised by great materiality, and chromatic, harmonic tones enhanced by a range of contrasting colours, Accento, and original decorative structures, developed in many modular sizes to provide an infinite number of uses as floor and wall tiles. Abitare la terra aims to meet the needs of an international market represented by planners, designers, interior design architects and discerning home owners who are looking for authentic materials for contemporary living.
Participation in the collective exhibition CER-SAIL- Italian Style Concept
Cerasarda Lab will also participate in the collective exhibition CER-SAIL- Italian Style Concept, this year inspired by the classic ports. In particular Cerasarda Lab has contributed to the project with Vallauris, a traditional glazed terracotta collection of great value and Parentesi Quadra, which represents a contemporary style with textures characterised by three-dimensional geometric patterns and both classic and elegant colour shades.
Cerasarda will be pleased to welcome visitors to Cersaie in Hall 16 on stands B1-B4-B5.
