Ceramiche Refin will attend the important American fair ICFF, a showcase focused on design, furniture, decoration and contemporary art trends and novelties.
Ceramiche Refin will be showing the American audience of ICFF the porcelain tile collection Arte Pura and the new line Voyager, which already met with great acclaim from the public at the recent edition of Coverings in Orlando.
Voyager and Arte Pura represent the company’s production versatility and also the ability of ceramics to interpret different “moods”, bringing a unique style to any interior.
These collections are not only a testament to product quality but also to the intensive and continual research into trends and technology that the company invests in.
Voyager collection
With Voyager Refin takes us on a journey that starts from the city of Genoa and its port, a strategic commercial hub from which explorers, adventurers and merchants embarked to reach the New World in America.
And it is directly from the port of Genoa that Refin drew inspiration for the collection, recovering the metal from movable bridges and platforms, aged and rusted by salt and time. The journey continues across the ocean to discover the Victorian buildings that characterised the urban architecture of North America, with its large windows, spacious verandas and rich tiles featuring geometric or floral designs that covered the ceilings of the salons of the time.
The rediscovery of these materials inspired the Voyager collection, which translates architectural elements of the past into ceramics, enclosing within itself the allure of adventure and the long journeys of past centuries.
Arte Pura collection by Daniela Dallavalle
A playful interaction between materials aimed at enhancing the intrinsic beauty of matter is the leitmotiv of the collection stemming from the collaboration between Ceramiche Refin and the designer Daniela Dallavalle. The intriguing combination of clay and textile fibres is emphasized through this ramified creative project that transfers onto surfaces the imaginative world of Daniela Dallavalle. Made of abstract and naive drawings, lace mosaics and linen-made still material works, Arte Pura is available in three versions: Trame, Rilievi and Grafismi, and four colours: Bianco, Pietra, Luna, Baltico.
