Marazzi Group invests in the technical innovation of Tecnema Technology machineries for the end-line finishing processes. The main goal is to increase the productive standards that since more than 80 years are distinguishing the brand.
The investment concerns a brand new line for dry cutting and squaring of porcelain material that will be installed within the end of the year in the facility of Fiorano. Marazzi, market leader in the industry with a strong culture and committment towards research & development, has chosen the innovative dry squaring technology proposed by Tecnema named Small Chip Thicnkess (SCT).
The inspiring creed behind the design of the next generation dry squaring machineries focuses mainly on efficiency increments together with energy saving principles, by reducing the number of calibrating spindles, as well as the mechanical components mounted on the machine, and by easing the set-up times for the operators. This result has been made possible also by adopting innovative solutions to increase the lifetime of the tools as well as the diagonal control adjustments which have been automatized through PLC (system patended from 2010).”
