Levantina Techlam, just in these days, at its historical production plant in Novelda, Alicante, has started to produce large-format slabs (3mm and 5mm thick) thanks to the new kiln purchased from ICF & Welko, a historical company from Maranello, among the pioneers in this field and which has, as its strengths, always been listening to the customer’s needs and studying tailor-made solutions, also with a view to efficiency and sustainability.
The kiln, in particular, is equipped with the new range of high-efficiency IWB burners that provide excellent performance in terms of fuel consumption, temperature uniformity along the firing channel, and reduced NOx and CO emissions.Further advantages of the IWB burner are its wide operating range, which is also available in modulated gas and air versions (stoichiometric combustion ratio kept constant as the power demand changes). Easy maintenance and inspection and improved vortex mixing are additional features that qualify the IWB burner as a standard component of ICF & Welko furnaces, which can also be used with hydrogen and methane mixtures as fuels.
LEVANTINA Techlam’s order obtained from ICF&WELKO Spa allows the Italian company to consolidate its presence in Spain with kilns for firing large slabs.
