LB has signed an agreement with the important Spanish group Porcelanosa for the supply of a spray-dried powder storage and feeding system for the production of large formats.
The supply includes several supply lines to give maximum flexibility to the latest generation molding technologies chosen by the customer for the production of ceramic slabs in various formats and thicknesses: this brings considerable advantages in terms of optimizing coloured powder procurement times, avoiding possible contamination .
The plant also has systems for dosing and mixing coloured powders, two Easy Color Boost dry coloring lines and a Chipper kit for dosing flakes or precious materials to obtain various types of aesthetic effects both on the surface and in the mass of the ceramic product.
The plant, which has an estimated production capacity of 1,300,000 m2/year, has been operational since January 2023: it is the most automated centre in the world for the production of large format porcelain stoneware.
