SERMAT has signed a supply agreement with the Sassuolo-based Bal-Co, a historic company dealing with the treatment, micronization, mixing, drying, packaging, marketing and production of industrial and agricultural mineral compounds.

This involves the construction of a weighed pneumatic conveying system with:

– storage of material (zeolitites, kaolins and clays)

– extraction with screws from 7 silos

– transport at high for feeding the bagging machine or for filling big bags directly on the weighing scale.

The customer needed to increase his productivity; the solution implemented by SERMAT has allowed the modernization of the existing plant to make it more flexible and responsive to the new needs of the market, also through the use of the latest generation 4.0 software.

Thanks to this supply, SERMAT has expanded its customer network and has extended its technologies also for processes in other sectors than the traditional ceramic market.
