Since last December, the plant supplied by LB for the ceramic body dry preparation in the new factory of Cartago (Poulina Group) in Djebel Ouest is working.

The body preparation is made through the Migractech process: the raw materials grinding is performed by means of a MRV vertical rollers mill, the microgranulation is performed with GRC and fluid drying bed.

In addition to the grinding and microgranulation process, the supply by LB also  includes the preparation and batching of raw materials, the storage of the microgranulated powders and the conveying from the silos to the presses for the tiles forming phase.

In the factory of Djebel Ouest, Carthago produces single-fired red body tiles in size 50×50 and 60×60 with a capacity , during the first phase of the project, of 16.000 sqm/day.

The plant is completely automated thanks to the technology 4.0 and presents a high degree of energy saving and low emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere.
